The One Million Trees in One Day project is managed and run by a huge network of volunteers across the 32 counties of Ireland and Northern Ireland.

Hundreds of people have given their time and energy to help create and produce this project so far.  Thousands of planting volunteers have already taken part in our pilot project during 2013 and 2014 and have helped us to plant almost 350,000 trees.

We will open sign-ups for volunteer planters again in advance of the full running of the project.  If you would like to volunteer to help us plant trees, please check back to this page later on.

In the meantime, if you would like to volunteer to help us with the preparation of the project in any way please send us an email to  Particular areas where we need extra support are with administration, local co-ordination and local fundraising.  We also need help from qualified foresters to help us with site assessment and design in each county.  Help with landscaping, ground preparation and fencing is also needed.

If you think you can help us in any way and would like to get involved please get in touch.

Thank you!
